Dined for breakfast three mornings during our visit to Canberra and had a wonderful experience. This is the perfect spot for any Coeliac diners looking for good quality Gluten Free food and loads of options.
I had three different breakfasts - French toast, avocado twist and waffles - and each dish was amazing! My husband (the Coeliac) had two big breakfasts and the breakfast burger and was thoroughly impressed.
We also had some pastries from the display fridge and they were wonderful. Almond croissants were amazing as was the ham and cheese Danish and the blueberry muffin!
This is a must try for any GF diners in the ACT!

80/20 Gluten Free Cafe has been an amazing find for our family! With two kids who are coeliac and sensitive to gluten, finding a place where we can all enjoy a meal can be challenging, but this spot was perfect. The menu is vast, offering a great range of options without the usual high markup that gluten-free food can sometimes have. The food itself was fantastic, with no noticeable taste difference—anyone would enjoy it, even if they don’t need to eat gluten-free. The staff was welcoming, and it was such a relief to know our kids were safe with their food. Highly recommend this place to anyone, whether they’re gluten-intolerant or not!

We came just as they were closing so the kitchen was closed. Not to worry - the pie warmer and cake display were still open!
Being gluttonous, I ordered a chicken pie, beef chilli cheese pie, pepper steak pie and vegetable pastie, all warm and ready to go. Plus a croissant and spinach cheese danish to takeaway for tomorrow's breakfast!
Pies and pastie were AMAZING. My non-GF husband says "you couldn't even tell they were gluten free, they tasted like regular pies".
So delicious. Highly recommend!!
(Excuse the bite out of the pie in the picture - i couldn't wait!)

The food is absolutely amazing. Only issue I found were the entry/exit doors into the cafe slam shut and literally shakes all the windows and if sitting outside next to the windows then it slams and then almost like a kid tapping the windows. Inside , next to window , it slams and fees like the windows are going to break. To make diners and patrons experience 100% then something needs to be done to address this.

I ate here twice on my recent stay in Canberra and the food was really good! The buckwheat waffle was a standout but I'm a bit confused as to why there were 3/4 waffle on the plate. Still, it was lovely and I had eggs, toast, and hasbrown day 2. The coffee is also really good. I wouldn't sit inside as there's not any airflow but outside was lovely if not in need of a refresh. Overall, good options for coeliac safety.

Visited the area over the weekend and was really looking forward to eating gluten free as the standard menu, not as an option - and you guy's didn't disappoint.
We had lunch on Saturday of Beef burgers and then returned this morning for breakfast. I had the French toast and hubby had the eggs benedict - both thoroughly enjoyed.
Also brought home a few frozen items and cakes.
Highly recommend.

It is nice to have a cafe which provides a variety of Gluten Free foods, as a coeliac myself I like the amount of options and some of the favourites which have been made as a gluten free variation which is nice. Service is great and atmosphere is frequently packed which probably indicates there's not enough options for Coeliacs and those seeking gluten free options in a cafe around.

My grandmother and mum always find it hard to find a restaurant that has more gluten free options and when visiting in Canberra they were so happy to find a place with so many options. The food was so delicious and was presented perfectly. And as someone myself who isn’t gluten free I found this food amazing and tasted absolutely delicious.

Firstly, the service was very personal and welcoming, which was the main positive here. The food and coffee were also top notch, definitely of a greater standard than one might expect for its location. More fitting for a Braddon roasters than a belco lunch spot. Decor could use some work but overall excellent.

If you’re looking for a quiet place for a healthy lunch, this cafe is just brilliant. The food and coffee are excellent and the service is good. The bowls are bound to make you feel full and virtuous and taste delicious! The burgers are juicy and saucy and the hand cut wedges will be kept for last because they’re perfect!

The Grilled Lime Barramundi at this cafe
was a culinary delight! The tender, flaky fish paired perfectly with the zesty burst of grilled lime. Impeccable presentation and inviting ambiance made it an unforgettable dining experience. A must-try dish for seafood lovers—can't wait to go back for more!

Great little spot with delicious food and drinks! The fact that it is 100% GF makes it a coeliac haven 😍 I am a gluten eater and loved everything too! We’ll definitely be back soon, the dinner options sound amazing!!
Thanks for making a safe space for coeliacs and others with allergies.

Coeliac friendly. Heaven.
Everything is gluten free of course.
We ordered French Toast and Eggs Benedict. Both were so delicious and beautifully presented. Quick service. Eating here was such a treat for our coeliac diner.
Nice outdoor dining experience watching the world go by.

What a delicious and delightful experience. I am sceptical about vegan food as it can go so very wrong but 80/20 out did themselves on their French toast and the portions for price were fabulous. I will definitely return and I highly recommend you do yourself a flavour and visit their cafe.

This place is like heaven for gluten free people, 100% recommend. You can pick anything on the menu without having to worry about cross contamination and the food is amazing. They also have a fridge full of gluten free food that you can buy like ravioli, breads, pies and cakes.

Great experience! We’ll definitely go again!
Also the variety of sweets (all gf, celiac friendly) is amazing! And they taste very good too, we had (our group) tiramisu’s, some fancy muffins and the simple caramel slice (yammm!)

High quality and fresh. Had the Mushroom Asparagus Spicy Pasta and Masala Dosa. Best Pasta in Canberra and Great food. Keen to try more next time. So far, probably one of the best vegan food in Canberra that is not fine dining.

I highly recommend cafe! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are delicious, and they offer a great variety of options to choose from. A must-visit spot for any foodie or coffee lover.

LOVE how Gluten free, vegetarian and Dairy free the menu is, it is such a refreshing experience. Lovely fresh, healthy foods. Love the offerings and really love how many are popping up all over. Thanks 80/20.

I absolutely love this cafe. I have dietary requirements, and this whole place is gluten and dairy free. One of my favourite places to catch up with friends etc. They should open one in Kippax.
